Custom Bookmarks Here We Come.
One small dream of mine was to create my own custom bookmarks for my books. I have two books, Grandma’s Magic Blanket and Lily’s Guide to Releasing Antique Spirits. Two beautiful new books that needed some one of a kind bookmarks.
I’ve tried several times years ago. It was a pain in the butt! I would measure the common bookmarks. Create my own template on my old laptop. Then run into creative blocks left and right, as I tried to figure out a unique design that is both eye catching and easy to print.
Once I pinned down a design to use, it was time to print them. I should mention, I HAD NO CLUE HOW TO COMPUTER 8 years ago. So, when I went to print these bookmarkers It was not saved in the right file or size. Eventually, I gave up. All that work for nothing.
8-ish years later I have my custom bookmarks in my hand. Beautiful design, the correct size, all because of this free app, Canva.
Let me demonstrate how easy it is to use Canva to create bookmarks.
