Hi, I’m Mary Cecilia Freeman

Mary? What happened to Cecilia the self-published author?
Being born and raised in a small Catholic town, a long first name is almost traditional for us. Even though the long name does cause some confusion, I have grown to love it.

I am a Children’s book Author. And soon adding YA author to the list. Woohoo! Working my way to becoming a full-time Self-published author.

My goal is to help as many new authors get their author journey started with more clarity and direction. I know what it takes to publish a book. More importantly, I understand the author world is confusing and HUGE.
From writing the story to publishing. If I can help with sharing my experience and knowledge, I will!

• I’ve been writing short stories since I was a kid, in grade school. Throughout my entire school life, I failed at spelling, English and anything to do with grammar. It’s slightly ironic that I became an author. Proof that you can do anything you put your mind too!
• Coffee. Is. Life! Jk however I do LOVE coffee. Personally, Starbucks, Paramour and my local town café MJ’s are my go too. (Iced-Mocha=Fav.)
• Introvert and an Old soul mix. Meaning if you see me outside my house, it’s a rarity.
• A love-hate relationship with food. I can create a masterpiece meal or screw up box brownies…I don’t know how I do it. Adding screwed up box pancakes now to the list. (sobs in a corner)
• large family of 13 brothers and sisters. I’m one of the last, according to my older siblings I am spoiled…I don’t know what they are talking about. Haha!
• My family members are my biggest Supporters. They think I’m crazy but in this family, we all have a little bit of crazy in us. But you didn’t hear that from me.
